Description Provides supportive services to entrepreneurs starting a small business. The Entrepreneurship Training Program provides business classes including computer training. The San Francisco Renaissance Network program offers supportive services to graduates of the training program. Services include consultation, advanced business workshops, and financing assistance. The San Francisco Renaissance Incubator Program provides assistance to new businesses including reduced rate office space, voice mail, Internet and e-mail access, use of fax machine and copier, and receptionist/answering service. The Financing Resource Center provides training, support, and assistance on facilitating a business loan.
Sponsors the Women's Business Center which provides training, technology and supportive services which are designed to help the growth of new and existing women-owned businesses. Sponsors the LIFT (Leveraging Individual Foresight and Talent) Program which provides outreach entrepreneurial workshops for residents of Bayview-Hunter's Point, Visitacion Valley and Portola Districts. Also sponsors the San Francisco Renaissance Toastmasters (see separate listing). Publishes the "Renaissance Entrepreneurship" newsletter three times a year.

Eligibility Applicant committed to starting a business or who currently owns a small business. Priority is given to San Francisco residents with limited financial resources, and who is a minority and/or a woman.
Fee Sliding scale; a limited number of partial scholarships and payment plans are available. A $25 non-refundable processing fee must be included with all applications and will be applied towards tuition for persons accepted into the classes.
