| Description |
Provides free carpool and vanpool matching service for commuters to or from any location in the Bay Area. Persons may enter information through the online form or call to give data about their commute and are matched with other persons who make the same trip. Also provides information and brochures about Park & Ride lots, carpool lanes, vanpool leasing, walking and biking to work. Sponsors Bike Buddy Matchlist which matches people to bike to work together. Provides information on tax-free commuter benefits and county-sponsored incentives. Services for employers include commute center development and operation; commute survey design and analysis; and assistance developing corporate vanpool programs. This office provides general transportation advice and will refer callers to appropriate transit services. |
