Program hours vary, including weekends.
Description A multi-service agency providing support services for homeless children and families including: a Mentor Program; The Beach House; and The School House. The Beach House is a unique respite and recreation program for homeless children based in a nurturing and supportive environment at the Marin Headlands, ages 5-17. The Mentoring Program provides homeless children with one-to-one attention from a caring adult, ages 6-17. The School House is an after-school enrichment program for homeless children in grades 5-9. This is a volunteer-run organization. Volunteers are needed to act as mentors, tutors, chefs, and Beach House trip companions, etc. A member of the Homeless Children's Network (HCN) and Homeless Education Council (HEC) of the SFUSD.

Application Referral by shelter or other service provider working with homeless and formerly homeless families.
