Description A law and social policy center which addresses homeless issues. Services include advocacy, technical assistance, training, and consultation services. Conducts research and provides community speakers. Maintains a resource library open to the public which contains books, magazine articles, and studies on homelessness, data and demographic files, newsletters from local and national homeless and housing organizations, and a video and audio tape collection. Publishes manuals and reports.
Fee Varies according to service received. Donations ($25) requested for publications.
Application Appointments are necessary to use the library. Call 415-788-7961, ext. 300 to schedule an appointment. Call for other services.
Transportation Muni (27 Bryant, 45 Union-Stockton or Market Street lines) and BART/Muni Metro (Powell Street station).
