Description The San Francisco Conservatory of Music is the first accredited, major independent conservatory of music of its kind on the West Coast of the United States. The Conservatory offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in music. Other programs include: a Preparatory Division providing after-school and weekend instruction to young students ages 4-18; Summer Music West (annually June-August) offering music programs for students ages 4-18. The Adult Extension Division offers a variety of classes in music for adults.
The Conservatory offers over 350 free or low-cost concerts a year with world-class faculty, students and visiting artists.
