Description Dedicated to making life better for dog owners and their companion animals and encourages responsible behavior by dog owners. Works with the Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA) to increase off-leash recreation access and decrease tensions between park rangers and dog walkers. Makes recommendations to the Recreation and Park Department on creating suitable dog exercise areas. Conducts city park surveys on a regular basis. Sponsors volunteer monthly clean-ups at different City parks. Publishes a newsletter, "The Wag."
