| Description |
Serves to preserve and enhance Filipino and Filipino-American culture and history. Operates the Manilatown Center, located at the New International Hotel Senior Housing development in San Francisco's historic Manilatown. This facility features a gallery with rotating art exhibits, performing arts theater, and a permanent collection of photographs, artwork, and artifacts reflecting the traditions of Filipino people. Also offers space for community workshops, exhibitions, and cultural events available to San Francisco communities. Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month. Publishes a periodic newsletter for members, "Panauwa!" |
