| Description |
A neighborhood playground offering recreational activities and programs for all ages. Provides after-school and summer activities for children and youth. Activities include homework assistance (one-on-one tutoring), arts and crafts; table games (ping pong, checkers); outdoor play; and field trips and lunch (summer only). Provides preschool fitness activities. Sponsors youth organized sports including baseball; basketball; and flag football; (offered seasonally). Also offers a teen program, drug prevention program, and a music media program. Activities for adults include a walking group and a sit down exercise program for seniors, Sit and be Fit. Playground facilities include a baseball field; outdoor basketball court; tennis court; multipurpose field; and a children's play area. |
