| Description |
Provides HIV/AIDS education and training to health care workers. Provides regularly scheduled training sessions in hospitals and other health care facilities throughout a four state service area. Workshops are available for professionals at different levels according to experience, knowledge, and occupational requirements of the trainee. Presents regularly scheduled lectures and presentations in various sites throughout San Francisco and the service area. Maintains a Resource Center located at the University of California, San Francisco. The Resource Center includes a lending library of over 100 video tapes, printed materials, and other curricula for AIDS/HIV education. Offers speakers for community groups and classes to discuss topics relating to AIDS/HIV. Call 415-597-8198 for speakers. |
